Netflix Acquires ‘NEWNESS’ Starring Nicholas Hoult

Netflix has announced that they have acquired the worldwide SVOD rights to NEWNESS, Drake Doremus new film that premiere at Sundance.

This romantic drama about dating in the modern world, stars Nicholas Hoult, Laia Costa, Danny Huston, Courtney Easton, Matthew Gray Gubler, Albert Hammond Jr., and Jessica Henwick.

A Scott Free Production, directed by Doremus from a script by Ben York Jones, the film is set in contemporary Los Angeles, two millennials (Hoult and Costa) navigate a social media-driven hookup culture begin a relationship that pushes both emotional and physical boundaries.

Doremus, Michael Pruss, Robert George, John Finemore, Michael Schaefer and Ben York Jones produce. Ridley Scott, James Hoppe, Mason Novick, Elizabeth Grave, Shea Kammer and Hoult executive produce.
