Following the news that Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema announced that director David Frankel’s COLLATERAL BEAUTY, starring Will Smith, Helen Mirren, Edward Norton, Naomie Harris and Michael Peña will open in theaters on December 16, 2016, the same date as Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, now comes the news that Keira Knightley has joined Collateral Beauty.

COLLATERAL BEAUTY centers on a New York advertising executive (Smith) who experiences a deep personal tragedy. His colleagues devise an unconventional plan to break him out of his depression, which works– but not in a way that anyone imagined.

A project from The PalmStar Media and Likely Story, the film is produced by Anonymous Content’s Michael Sugar and Bard Dorros, along with Allan Loeb, who wrote the script. Kevin Frakes executive produces with Anthony Bregman and Steven Pearl. Smith’s Overbook will co-produce.

Meanwhile, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed.
