The Flash star Grant Gustin has joined Foresight Unlimited’s upcoming political drama THE LAST FULL MEASURE from Emmy Award-winning writer/director Todd Robinson.

Gustin will play actual Medal of Honor recipient William Pitsenbarger, a special forces Pararescue Jumper whose mandate is to save lives rather than take them. He joins the previously announced Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt, Samuel L. Jackson, Bradley Whitford, Michael Imperioli, and Linus Roache.

Based on the true story of a present-day cover-up investigation, The Last Full Measure follows young Pentagon investigator Scott Huffman (Stan) as he battles the political machine in Washington. He reluctantly teams with veterans of Operation Abilene to convince Congress to award the Medal of Honor to a courageous Air Force medic, Pitsenbarger (Gustin), who is seen saving the lives of over 60 Marines ambushed in one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War. As the battle waged on, and after the last helicopter left, he continued to save lives until his own was sacrificed.

Timothy Scott Bogart, Mark Damon, Lauren Selig, Julian Adams, Pen Densham, John Watson, Nicholas Cafritz, Robert Reed Peterson, and Shaun Sanghani produce. Tamara Birkemoe, Jenna Sanz-Agero, Sidney Sherman, Louis Steyn and T.J Steyn executive produce.

“I can’t tell you about how much I love LEAP! and that’s why I’m moving it. The producers made a fantastic family film when they created the French Version of the film. Our team has done an incredible job building on their vision with the American version. Just last week we had Kate McKinnon add her genius voice to three characters, and the cast including Elle Fanning, Maddie Ziegler and Nat Wolff capture the heart and humor of the story so well. We have made the decision to move back to Labor Day and build the awareness and excitement within our audience. As always, I want to do what is best for the film, which I think is the best animated film I’ve ever made, and test audiences have agreed. I screened the film just last weekend for Trevor Drinkwater and Geena Davis and they absolutely loved it. They will host the film’s premiere on the Saturday during the Bentonville Film Festival.”

Trevor Drinkwater and Geena Davis, Founders of the Bentonville Film Festival said:

“We are thrilled to be premiering The Weinstein Company’s animated film LEAP! as part of our Studio Spotlight series at The Bentonville Film Festival.”

Life’s greatest adventure begins with a single leap, and the two friends leave their orphanage in pursuit of their passions. But– there’s a catch, Félicie must pretend to be the child of a wealthy family in order to gain admittance to the prestigious and competitive Opera Ballet School in Paris.
