The Last Jedi is written and directed by Ryan Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in The Force Awakens, welcomes back Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. They’re joined by Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman produces. J.J Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski executive produce.

The Last Jedi hits theaters and IMAX on December 15.

The First Trailer For ‘WONDER’ Starring Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson

Check out the first trailer and poster that Lionsgate has released for their upcoming adaption WONDER, starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Tremblay, which can be seen down below!

Based on R.J Palacio’s novel of the same name, Wonder tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman (Tremblay), a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time. Roberts and Wilson play Nate and Isabel, Auggie’s parents.

Directed by Stephen Chbosky (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) from an adapted script by Jack Thorne and Steve Conrad. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman produce.

Wonder hits theaters on November 17.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Downey Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine– distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man– but when The Vulture (Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

The Final Trailer For ‘VALERIAN’

Check out this last trailer that EuropaCorp and STXFilms has released for Luc Besson’s film VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS, which can be seen down below!

Based on the classic European graphic novel series “Valerian and Laureline” (specifically the sixth book, “Ambassador of the Shadows”), Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planet stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as the title characters, special operatives for the government of the human territories and charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian has more in mind than a professional relationship with his partner, blatantly chasing after her with proportions of romance. But his extensive history for women, and her traditional values, drive Laureline to continuously rebuff him.

Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time– uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger.

Written and directed by Besson, and produced by Besson-Silla. Also starring Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman, Herbie Hancock and Kris Wu.

Sam Claflin Joins Shailene Woodley’s ‘ADRIFT’

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star Sam Claflin is in negotiations to join Shailene Woodley in the upcoming survival film ADRIFT from STX Entertainment.

To be directed by Baltasar Kormakur, and based on the true story of Tami Oldham, who was knocked unconscious during a sailing trip with her fiancé Richard Sharp during the largest hurricane in the history of the Pacific Ocean. She has to save them both with no way to communicate or navigate. The story reportedly looks back on their relationship as she attempts to save them on the 1,500 mile trip to Hawaii.

Woodley and Claflin will lead. Kormakur directs from a script by Aaron and Jordan Kandell. Miles Teller was originally eying the role, but due to schedule conflicts he passed.

Production is likely to begin this summer.

Claflin is known for working on the final three Hunger Games film, Me Before You with Emilia Clarke, Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He’s also appeared on TV in the mini-series White Heat and The Pillars of the Earth and Amy Human Heart.

Roland Emmerich to Direct WWII ‘MIDWAY’

Roland Emmerich will direct the upcoming MIDWAY, based on the true story of World War II’s Battle of Midway. The battle was a turning point in the Pacific theater of the war and the film will follow the real soldiers and aviators who pulled off the unbelievable to turn the tide of the war.

Written by Wes Took, who writes and produces the upcoming USA Network’s series Jean-Claude Van Johnson. Yu Dong from Bona Film Group, Mark Gordon and Matt Jackson from the Mark Gordon Company, alongside Harald Kloser and Emmerich will produce.

The Battle of Midway was a naval battle that took place between June 4 and June 7, 1942, six months after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor. The United States Navy defeated a fleet from the Imperial Japanese Navy, making it impossible to recover completely. On the American side, the effort was lead by Admirals Chester Nimitz, Frank Jack Fletcher, and Raymond A. Spruance. On the Japanese side, it was led by Admirals Isoroku Yamamoto, Chuichi Nagumo, and Nobutake Kondo. The battle took place near Midway Atoll.

Emmerich is known for disaster films like 1994’s Stargate, 1996’s Independence Day, 1998’s Godzilla, 2004’s The Dark After Tomorrow, 2009’s 2012, and last year’s Independence Day: Resurgence. He also worked on the TV series The Visitor.
