The Comic-Con Trailer For Marvel’s ‘THE DEFENDERS’

Netflix and Marvel took part of their panel at Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, which featured the stars of the highly anticipated event series MARVEL’S THE DEFENDERS, and a new trailer has been released! Check it out down below!

Stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Sigourney Weaver, Elodie Yung, Deborah Ann Woll, Jessica Henwick, and executive producer and showrunner Marco Ramirez took the stage, with the panel moderated by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. The panel was packed with surprises and sneak peeks, including an appearance by Jon Bernthal, star of his own spinoff series Marvel’s The Punisher, coming out later this year, and the announcement of Iron Fist renewed for a second season.

THE DEFENDERS follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Cox), Jessica Jones (Ritter), Luke Cage (Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist ( Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal– to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figured, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

Also starring Sigourney Weaver as the antagonist named Alexandra, and reprising their roles are Elodie Yung as Elektra, Scott Glenn as Stick, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, with Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.

The series is executive produced by Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

THE DEFENDERS hits the streaming site globally on August 18 at 12:01AM PT.
