Paramount Delays ‘CLOVERFIELD’ Sequel

Paramount Pictures has changed their upcoming release schedule, moving two fims for potential award contenders and delaying another one.

Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming film mother! has been changed from its October 15 to September 15. The film puts it up against the action thriller American Assassin, the psychological drama All I See Is You, and the comedy Brad’s Status.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris, Domhnall Gleeson, and his brother Brian Gleeson. No plot synopsis has been revealed, but the film is said to center on a couple whose relationship is challenged with the arrival of some uninvited guests.

George Clooney’s SUBURBICON has been moved from its November 3 to October 27 release date. It now goes up against the military drama Thank You for Your Service, the biopic Professor Marston & The Wonder Women, and the horror sequel Jigsaw.

Starring Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Julianne Moore, and Oscar Isaac. Featuring a script by the Coen Brothers, the story is about a quiet family town of Suburbicon, where the best and worst of humanity is reflected through the deeds of seemingly ordinary people. A break-in that ends in death brings out the ugly side of a seemigly perfect family.

And lastly, the next Cloverfield film, which is known as GOD PARTICLE has been changed from October 27 to February 2, 2018. The other film set for the date is horror film Cadaver.

Directed by Julius Onah and written by Oren Uziel. It was then rewritten by Doug Jung. The plot is said to revolve around an American space station that, after an accident with a particle accelerator, suddenly finds that Earth has vanished together. Things get stranger when they pick up traces of another space station nearby.

Starring David Oyelowo, John Krasinski, Elizabeth Debicki, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O’Dowd, Ziyi Zhang and Daniel Brühl.
