EW has released these new photos for Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment highly anticipated sci-fi sequel, BLADE RUNNER 2049, which can be seen down below!

Directed by Denis Villenueve, the film takes place thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Villeneuve said to the magazine that he credits leading star Gosling for keeping him going:

“Ryan was my muse. He has the movie on his shoulders. He’s in almost every single frame. To see his smile in the morning– and when Ryan Gosling smiles, the camera melts– and his goodwill and strength just meant the world to me. I owe him a lot. This movie owes him a lot.

Also starring Ana De Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.

Villeneuve directs from a script by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green and succeeds the initial story by Fancher and David Peoples based on Philip K. Dick’s novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”.

Frank Giustra and Tim Gamble, CEOs of Thunderbird Films executive produce alongside Ridley Scott, Yale Badick, and Bill Carraro. Andrew A. Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Bud Yorkin and Cynthia Yorkin produce.

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters on October 6, 2017.
