Game of Thrones and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Gwendoline Christie has joined Robert Zemecki’s upcoming Marwencol narrative remake. Christie joins the previously announced Steve Carell and Diane Kruger.

A Universal Pictures production, the film is still untitled and is based on Jeff Malmberg’s 2010 documentary Marwencol. Marwencol tells the true story of mark Hogancamp, a man who, after being nearly beaten to death, fell into a nine-day coma. When he finally awoke, his memory was gone. As a means of therapy, he built Marwencol, a 1:6 scale fantasy world with dolls crafted in the images of himself and those around him.

Also starring Leslie Mann, Janella Monae and Eiza Gonzalez. Caroline Thompson is cowriting the script with Zemeckis. Both Thompson and Zemeckis will produce through ImageMovers with Jack Rapke, Steve Starkey and Cherylanne Martin.

Christie recently starred on Jane Campion and Gerard Lee’s mystery series Top of the Lake, and returns as Captain Phasma in the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Directed by Rian Johnson, the latter hits theaters on December 15. She’s also slated to star in the upcoming sci-fi feature Darkest Minds, based on the YA series by Alexandra Bracken.
