‘STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI’ Cover Vanity Fair Latest Issue

As part of the franchise’s 40th anniversary, Annie Leibovitz photographed the cast of Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm’s STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI for the latest issue of Vanity Fair Magazine. Four different covers has been released along with photos, and interviews will be released on Wednesday.

The first cover features Daisy Ridley’s Rey and Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker on the planet Ahch-To. Second the three First Order heavies– Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson), and Kylo Red (Adam Driver). Driver told VF that Kyle Ren’s wounds go much deeper than the fearsome new scar on his face. Third cover features Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Finn (John Boyega), BB-8, and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran). And the last cover features the late Carrie Fisher as Leia.

The Last Jedi is written and directed by Ryan Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in The Force Awakens, welcomes back Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. They’re joined by Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman produces. J.J Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski executive produce.

The Last Jedi hits theaters and IMAX on December 15.
