FOX Cancels Anthology Series ‘SCREAM QUEENS’ After 2 Seasons

May 15, 2017

FOX has cancelled Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s anthology horror comedy series SCREAM QUEENS after two seasons.

Gary Newman, FOX Chairman said during FOX’s upfront presentation on Monday:

“It is an anthology series, and Ryan felt that he told the story over the two seasons, he felt the story was complete. There is no plan to go back and tell more stories.”

While this is one show less on his agenda, Murphy is bringing first responders drama 9-1-1 starring Angela Bassett to the network.

Scream Queens starred Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd.
