Almaric directs and costars alongside Jeanne Balibar, about an actress and a director who both become consumed with the title character in the film they’re making.

An actress, Brigitte, is playing Barbara in a film that soon begins shooting.

Barbara will have its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section.
