STARZ Renews ‘AMERICAN GODS’ For a Season 2

After two episodes airing, STARZ has announced that they have renewed AMERICAN GODS for a second season. The series has so far had 5 million viewers across multiple platforms.

Carmi Zlotnik, President of Programming at STARZ said:

Based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman, the series stars Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis, Bruce Langley as Technical Boy, Crispin Glover as Mr. World, and Orlando Jones as Mr. Nancy.

Other key members include Gillan Anderson as Media, Kristin Chenoweth as Easter, Jonathan Tucker as Low Key Lyesmith, Cloris Leachman as Zorya Vechernyaya, Peter Stormare as Czernobog, Chris Obi as Anubis, Demore Barnes as Mr. Ibis, Corbin Bernsen as Vulcan, and Mouse Kraish as The Jinn.

AMERICAN GODS airs on Sundays at 9PM ET/PT on STARZ.
