‘LOGAN’ Will Be Released in Black & White

April 30, 2017

In order to promote Logan, director James Mangold and star Hugh Jackman shared black and white photos, and while they looked cool, many of us were wondering whether the film would be in black and white. However, Mangold has revealed on his Twitter that fans will be able to see the black and white screenings on Tuesday, May 16!

Unfortunately, the black and white screenings will only take place in the U.S. However, this might be a tie-in with the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD release, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Logan stars Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, and Dafne Keen. Set in the near future, the film follows a weary Logan (Jackman) as he cares for an ailing Professor X (Stewart) in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Logan has earned more than $605 million at the worldwide box office and it was made for $97 million.
