Rian Johnson Reveals Why Kyle Ren’s Scar is Different in ‘STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI’
When the first teaser trailer for STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI was revealed at the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida, this past weekend, fans noticed that Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren’s scar was in a different place. Director Rian Johnson answered a fan question on his Twitter to explain why.
The scar is moved from the middle of his forehead to across his eyebrow in The Last Jedi trailer.
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, the film continues the storylines introduced in The Force Awakens and welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. They’re joined by Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.
Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman produces. J.J Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski executive produce.
The Last Jedi hits theaters and IMAX on December 15.
