AMC Renews ‘FEAR THE WALKING DEAD’ For a Fourth Season

AMC has announced that they have renewed FEAR THE WALKINH DEAD for a fourth season. This announcement comes two months before before the Seasom 3 premiere on June 4.

In addition, Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) will be joining the new season and serving as showrunners. Scott M. Gimple (The Walking Dead) will become an executive producer.

Joel Stillerman, President of Original Programming and Development for AMC and SundanceTV said:

“We’re very excited to continue this journey of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD and truly look forward to working with the talented team of Andrew Chambliss, Ian Goldberg and Scott Gimple.”

Chambliss and Goldberg said:

“We are thrilled to be joining FEAR THE WALKING DEAD and couldn’t couldn’t be more excited to work alongside the wonderful team at AMC on this show. We love this universe and are truly honored to have the chance to contribute to it.”

Dave Erickson, who was previous showrunner, after completing Season 3 will be stepping aside in order to develop new products for the network.

Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert, David Erickson, and Scott M. Gimple executive produce the series.
