Terrence Howard To Star in Crime Thriller ‘.38’
Terrence Howard and Paula Patton will star in the upcoming crime thriller, .38.
To be directed by Michael Carney, the crime thriller is described as End of Watch meets Crash, .38 follows a rookie coop on the mean streets of St. Louis as he spends his first night on the job and, after a brutal killing occurs, he sees up close the bonds of loyalty, work and family that bind together the cops, both black and white.
Howard will play a detective whose daughter goes missing on the fateful night.
Epps will play a seasoned cop who has a family connection to the neighborhood gang leader and doesn’t think much of the rookie.
And lastly, Patton, will play Epps’ partner, who has to console the daughter of a murdered man but then joins other cops as they track down the killer.
Armory Films’ Tim Zajaros and Christopher R. Lemole will be producing with Anita Gou and Matthew Malek of Foxtrail Entertainment. David Guillod and Mark Burg from Primary Wave Entertainment will be producing.
Production is expected to begin this May in Thomasville, Georgia.
