Michael Rosenbaum and Sylvester Stallone Play Important Roles in ‘GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2’
Writer-director James Gunn has been promoting his highly anticipated sequel, Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, and while it is about a month and a half away, it’s time to get busy to promote.
Gunn recently spoke on The Adam Corolla Show to talk about his new film The Belko Experiment, which he wrote. He revealed that Michael Rosenbaum has a mystery role and that his character is, in some way, connected to Sylvester Stallone’s mystery role.
“We do have a couple of characters who are very important to the Marvel Universe who are going to make their debut in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 which people don’t know about. Sylvester Stallone plays one of these characters… my friend Michael Rosenbaum also has a pretty decent role in the movie as well and it sort of works in tandem with Sly’s character.”
Rosenbaum is known to comic book fans for his work with the Distinguished Competition. He played Lex Luthor on The CW’s hit series Smallville and has voiced The Flash in various Justice League animated films. He’s also best known for playing Peanuts’ Charlie Brown in two episodes of Gunn’s old webseries, PG Porn.
