The Trailer For ‘MINDGAMERS’

March 16, 2017

Check out the trailer for dystopian horror/sci-fi action-thriller that Terra Mater Films has released for their upcoming film MINDGAMERS, which can be seen down below!

Fathom Events will release the film on March 28 for cinema audiences in order to help make neuroscience history, as for the first time, one thousand human minds will be simultaneously connected via cloud technology while they watch the film. An image of that mass mind-state will then be broadcast to cinemas across the nation as audiences in two locations participate by wearing a cognition headband.

Starring Sam Neill and Tom Payne, MindGamers follows a group of brilliant young students who create a wireless neural network, linking multiple minds via a quantum computer. Capable of transferring motor-skills from one brain to another, they have brought into existence the first shareware for human motor skills. They freely spread this technology, believing it to be a first step towards a new equality and intellectual freedom. But they soon discover that they themselves are part of a much greater experiment… What if you could suddenly share the mind and skills of a Stephen Hawking, Beyoncé, Lindsey Vonn or anyone and everyone on the planet? Based on real contemporary science, MindGamers aims to re-imagine the modern moviegoing experience with “the first action film for the mind.”

MindGamers will open with introductory talks from leaders in the fields of technology, neuroscience and the collective consciousness. Following the immersive feature film the event will conclude with a live Q&A.
