Emmy Rossum Joins Liam Neeson’s Revenge Thriller ‘HARD POWDER’
Shameless star Emmy Rossum has joined Liam Neeson’s upcoming revenge thriller HARD POWDER. Based on the 2014 Norwegian film “In Order of Disappearance”, which starred Stellan Skarsgard.
No word yet on what Rossum’s role is. However, Neeson will play a well-liked snowplow driver in a Colorado ski town named New, whose son is murdered. To get revenge, Nel uses his special set of skills to take out the local drug cartel and its kingpin who are responsible, ultimately sparking a turf war between a Native American mafia and a yuggie gangster called The Viking.
Michael Shamberg from StudioCanal will be producing. Hard Powder was written by Frank Baldwin and will be directed by Hans Petter Moland, who also directed the original film.
Rossum, known for her work on the Showtime series, also directed an episode recently.
