Nick Frost and Simon Pegg Reteam For New Project
Nick Frost and Simon Pegg have been an inseparable duo who have given us The Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End) all directed by Edgar Wright, alien road trip movie Paul, and who first sparked their friendship on the cult UK series Spaced. It’s been a few years since the duo have collaborated on a project, but there’s good news!
Frost recently spoke with The Inverse and revealed that he and Pegg are working on a new project, though, they are not certain whether it will be a movie or television.
“Simon and I are working on something. We’re trying to do something a bit special at the moment. It’s a work in progress, and we may have some more information on it later in the year.”
While he’s just teasing, it’s not clear whether this is the project that will turn out to be.
“I think I’d [want] to do something in the sci-fi world. Something a bit ghost hunter-y, or a bit Monster of the Week in a comedy. With two guys and a girl, it’s like THE X-FILES, but they’re not affiliated with any government agency.”
We’ll have to wait and see where this collaboration goes.
