Kit Harington Says ‘GAME OF THRONES’ Season 7 is “Much Bigger in Scale”
Following the HBO announcement that GAME OF THRONES season 7 on July 16, star Kit Harington spoke with The Huffington Post about it.
“They spent an increasing amount of money on less episode, so it’s gonna be much bigger in scale, the CGI. We’re trying new things, experimenting with new camera techniques. I think we’re trying to break boundaries and push past boundaries in these final two seasons.”
Harington also said that the new season was more intense than earlier ones.
“I think every actor did more action, had more action, had more scenes. They really focused it [on the main cast] because less [new] characters are coming in; they’re focusing in on the existing ones.”
He also teased about what fans have been speculating about.
“And there are lots of people who cross paths. And that’s something I think the audience has been waiting for for a long time.”
At the end of season 6, Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) dragons and her immense army were finally on the way to Westeros, where Cersei (Lena Headey) is now Queen after the death of her children. The Night King’s (Vladimir Furdik) army is heading south, and a battle appears to be imminent.
