New Details Of ‘Magic Mike 2′ Released
The latest news is that Magic Mike 2 is in the works, but Steven Sodenbergh puts the project in hiatus the project.
In an interview with AlloCine, Channing Tatum said:
“We really want to [make it], but Steven Sodenbergh really wants to retire. We will undoubtedly make the Broadway version first.”
Tatum went on to suggest that long-time assistant Gregory Jacobs could take Sodenbergh place.
“You know, we are talking a lot about it. We have a story, and it is really ridiculous and fun. “
Meanwhile, Carolin, who co-produced and wrote the first film, said in a statement:
“Its a road movie sort of thing where a bunch of strippers get back together. It’s more of a broad comedy. I don’t know whether it will happen or not.”
Rumors are that its possible for Reid Carolin and Tatum to co-direct the movie.
