New Pic Released Of Daniel Craig In ‘Skyfall’!!!
Check out the new pic that has been released of Daniel Craig on a motorcycle in the 23rd James Bond adventure film titled Skyfall!!
Craig uses a Honda CRF250R for the scene that was specially designed for the film that opens in theaters on November 9 in the US and Octber 26 in the UK.
A partnership between Honda and the film was released in commission with the exhibition called Bond In Motion at the National Motor Museum in the UK. The motorcyle will be featured in the film’s opening sequence which was shot on location in Istanbul and Adana, Turkey.
A total of twenty Honda motorcycles that Bond uses were heavily adapted and dressed to look like two local motorbikes. One if a Turkish police bike that Patrick (Ola Rapace) seizes after a crash, the other is a Turkish merchant’s bike that Bond uses to pursue Patrick through the streets in a high speed chase. Both bikes feature an extensive modifications courtersy of Chris Corbould‘s award-winning special effects team.
Meanwhile two of the motorbikes were further chosen for use as HD camera filming machines, as only motorbike could allow the camera crew to keep up with the chase scene and follow the various stunts.
Gary Powell, Stunt Coordinator for Skyfall said:
“We needed a highly versatile and quality off-road motorbike that could be easily modified, without compromising performance or safety for the opening sequence of SKYFALL. Honda CRFs are probably the best off-roaders out there so its great that we’ve been able to partner with Honda as the bikes, whilst heavily modified, were superb to work with.”
