Cobie Smulders 2 Upcoming Projects
Variety reports that The Avengers and How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders has 2 upcoming project. And they are the following:
She will be joining Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough in Lasse Halstrom’s film titled Safe Haven based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. Hough plays a young woman who arrives at a small North Carolina town and is suspected by the community including Smulders’ neighboring character.
Second, she will be joining David Wain’s romantic comedy parody titled They Came Together playing Paul Rudd’s girlfriend. This film will be Wain’s fifth time making a movie with Rudd, this time working from a script he co-wrote with his long-time collaborator Michael Showalter from The Slate and Stella.
Smulders will be filming her parts for both of these films over the summer before getting back to work on the next season of the TV show How I Met Your Mother.
