Rupert Grint & Chloe Moretz Sign For Dennis Wilson Biopic ‘The Drummer’

Former Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has a new role and will be starring along with Hugo actress Chloe Moretz!  The project is titled The Drummer.  The pair has agreed to appear in the Dennis Wilson biopic starring Aaron Eckhart as the late Beach Boys member.

What character will Grint and Moretz be playing? Moretz will be playing the musician’s daughter Jennifer Wilson, who was with him during the darkest era of his life. While Grint will be playing William Morris mailroom intern Stan Shapiro, who became a close friend of Wilson’s.

The film will document the last six years of Wilson’s life until his death in 1983. Filming will begin on June 15 in California and Savannah, Georgia.

Also Vera Farmiga previously signed up to star as Wilson’s love Christine McVie earlier this year.
