Is John Turturro Reuniting With Director Michael Bay For ‘Pain and Gain’?
Turturro looks a bit like Schiller
Latino Review is reporting that actor John Turturro who starred in Michael Bay’s Transformers movies might be reuniting back with him for his “smaller movie”, Pain and Gain. In Pain and Gain stars Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, Ed Harris and Rob Corddry.
What character would Turturro play? According to them, he would play Marc Schiller, a Miami businessman who was kidnapped and tortured by bodybuilders Daniel Lugo (Wahlberg) and Adrian Doorbal (Johnson), who are members of Miami’s notorious Sun Gym gang.
Bay’s film is a true cime tale based on Pete Collin’s Miami New Times series about the criminals. The movie is set to begin production in Spring.
